Willoughby has had a long history with Mary Carol Garrity, the Martha Stewart of the Midwest. Beginning with the opening of her first store, Nell HIll’s, in 1981, the Mary Carol name has grown into an up-and-coming consumer brand. For Mary Carol’s own line of artisan paints, we designed and named color-coded packaging in 20 coordinated colors to reinforce her most heartfelt value: to make beautiful, quality decor attainable to everyone. From Winter Wheat to Ice Cream Social, now customers can recreate the same wall colors that Mary Carol features in her lifestyle home furnishings stores.
