EVERYONE ON BOARD
It is no easy feat to change the name of a town’s namesake bank. So when Mulvane State Bank found itself challenged with preserving its small-town heritage while positioning for expansion into new markets, the leadership group turned to Willoughby. After testing name options and developing a brand, Willoughby helped the bank build brand champions. Internal buy-in is extremely important prior to a brand launch, and much attention was given to gaining consensus and excitement. Willoughby gave careful attention to help launch the Carson Bank re-branding and manage a smooth transition, first internally with an unveiling party and branded gifts, and then externally through signage, collateral, advertising, direct mail, a fresh website and special gifts at community events.
