Kauffman Foundation TED Tent

CURIOUS SOULS CONVERGE

Where else could Google co-founder, Sergey Brin, chef, Jamie Oliver and singer/songwriter Sheryl Crow converge under one tent? The Kauffman Global Village Tent at TED2010. Willoughby worked with Steelcase and TED to design the Global Village Tent hosted by Kauffman as a space to reflect, meet and become inspired. The space was divided into 4 quadrants, 2 lounges for simulcast viewing of the TED conference, 1 café area, and the Global Scholars area where Kauffman provided meeting spaces to meet with the Scholars. The theme of the tent was a mix of Bedouin tent with a modern global feel.
