Kevin Carroll Katalyst

Lessons in Play

Kevin Carroll chased his Red Rubber Ball from the playground of his youth to soccer fields in the Air Force to the 76ers and then to Nike, where his work to keep play and creativity alive within the corporate environment earned him the title “Katalyst.” Now, he speaks at schools and companies around the world, working to help others discover their inspiration and encourage them to chase their dreams. Willoughby designed Kevin’s original identity just after designing his first book, Rules of the Red Rubber Ball, using imagery and icons as cohesive tools Kevin then incorporated when telling his personal story. Willoughby worked with him to organize and position his business for future growth. At the same time, we designed two more books for him and updated his identity to keep his brand communicating cohesively and clearly.
